I am Joana. (GDC 170097)
I'm from Portugal and did my degree in Dentistry in Lisbon.
I've been working in Norfolk for 11 years as a dentist and loving it more and more each day. I particularly enjoy working with children and the elderly.
My dear head nurse described me as:
"a bubbly, fun dentist to work with. She takes her role as a dentist seriously and is caring in her approach, a good listener and focused on her patients best interests at all times. She is honest about treatment needs and the achievable results. There is no pressure put on the patient to decide there and then and she is often heard encouraging patients "to have a think" about what she has discussed and "get back to her".
I love artistic projects, reading, traveling and spending time with my daughter and my dear friends.
I am Steph. (GDC 126888)
Originally from Scotland, I've been a Dental Nurse for 34 years and have been involved with NR2 since it's inception.
In addition to my National Dental Nursing certificate, I have special interest qualifications in Safeguarding, Norfolk Domestic Abuse Champions, the Mental Health Act and a Diploma in Dementia.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, learning new skills and have many creative hobbies.
We have created a wonderful, caring atmosphere and I really look forward to seeing you at NR2 Dental Studio
This is Dylan.
Dylan was born on the 6th of March 2015. I have had him since 30th April 2015. Dylan is a house rabbit and lives with me and my husband in a rabbit proofed home!
He is full of cheek and character, loving cuddles, His favourite thing to play with are socks, which he carries around and brings to me, he also follows me around the house.
He was initially and understandably nervous when I first brought him to the surgery, a trip in the car, and unfamiliar surroundings causing a bit of anxiety. After being left to settle in he was soon giving Jo cuddles. The next day he was ready and waiting to come to work, ears up and raring to go!
Dylan is quite calm and really seems to be enjoying his new role. I have never known him to bite, although he will sometimes nip clothing, as that is how a rabbit investigates its environment.
